Updated: Sat, 2nd May, 9:12pm, 2015 The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have welcomed their second child, a baby girl to the world. Like their 21 month old son George, the baby princess was born at The Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. The princess slept in her mother’s arms during her first public appearance on the steps of St Mary’s Hospital, then left for Kensington Palace who announced that the baby was “safely delivered” at 8.34am, weighing 8lbs 3oz. The duchess had been in hospital for just over 12 hours before leaving. The baby was born less than three hours after the couple arrived at the Lindo Wing, at St Mary’s Hospital. Unfortunately, the princes’ name won’t be announced this evening, it might even take a few days to be revealed.
